Pete Lindow takes over the management of the entire IT for Invia Travel Germany GmbH as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) ad interim with immediate effect. In this position he will drive forward the comprehensive realignment of the IT architecture of the online travel agency ab-in-den-urlaub.de.
Lindow is regarded as a proven expert in travel technology. “We are very pleased to have won Pete Lindow for this challenging task. He will accompany us in the repositioning of the IT architecture and contribute his many years of experience,” says Boris Raoul, CEO of Invia Group. This is intended to increase the innovative strength and speed for the benefit of our customers and to significantly expand the services and products offered. Lindow explains: “With the microservices approach, we are focusing on decoupling processes, which will become much more agile, as well as cross-functional teams. By means of a modular structure of the IT architecture we increase the innovation power clearly”.
Lindow has been working as a consultant with his company Greenfield Strategy Consulting for five years now. Until the end of 2014 he was CTO of HolidayCheck AG for more than two years. Previously, he worked for one and a half years as Managing Director at Axis Data SL and for almost three years as Vice President IT Strategy & Implementation and Vice President IT International for Traveltainment. He was also employed for another four years as Director Software Development at Sabre Travel Network and in responsible positions at Dillon Communication Systems GmbH, which merged into Sabre.
