As Senior Frontend Developer (m/f), you're a key player and responsible for engineering and implementing software products in a robust and well maintainable manner. The product owner is consulting you and you're responsible to create and work on big projects, cutting-edge products, refactorings and migrations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Drafting solutions with the product owner and implementing them
  • Migration of legacy code to a new software, especially from jQuery into MVW
  • Realizing drafts following standards and best practices for structured and modular HTML, SASS/CSS and JavaScript for different systems and browsers
  • Defining criteria for usability and accessibility
  • Working in multidisciplinary and agile teams of great people

Your skills & qualifications:

Must

  • You're awesome with HTML, SASS and ECMAScript5+
  • You're good in PHP and jQuery
  • You know MVW frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js and already worked with at least one
  • You're skilled in REST
  • You're motivated to solve compatibility issues with all major browsers - yes, that sadly also means supporting Internet Explorer 11 Zwinkern
  • Git is your second home
  • You enjoy working with different people based in Design, Economics and Testing connecting initiative and a great sense of responsibility
  • If you speak at least intermediate German - awesome!

Nice to have

  • You're experienced and motivated in migrating projects from plain JavaScript/jQuery to Model-View-Whatever
  • You know how to use and setup building tools like Grunt, Gulp or similar
  • You know something about MVC frameworks like Zend, Symfony or similar
  • You know a little about SEO and how to optimize the frontend for this
